Philippine Brain Gain Program

The Philippine Brain Gain program aims to encourage and provide avenues for Filipinos abroad to give back through sharing of expertise and talents to kababayans in the Philippines. Other than monetary donations, the exchange or transfer of knowledge is one concrete way of bringing back the resources lost brought about by the Diaspora of Filipinos.

AF-USA has initially coordinated some “Brain Gain” activities by US-based Filipino educators who were eager to impart knowledge to their counterparts through seminars and workshops. Some addressed professional organizations while others went back to their hometowns.
